On a story do you prefer when an author has the Fan Q&A open or shut
Because I know it annoys me when I can’t leave feed back but I also know authors shut it because of people who only like to criticise
But I wanna hear others opinions

I prefer to have the fan mail turned off. To protect authors psychologically and emotionally… unless there are authors who can accept harsh criticism and insult.
Readers can contact the authors through instagram so I don’t see the importance of the fanmail. More like a hate mail than fan mail really (Don’t shoot me I’m just saying my opinion)

It has its pros and cons. Overall it will be a mixture of fan mails and hate mails. If you turn it off, you may miss out some meaningful fan mails.
If you can handle the criticism, its totally okay for you to leave the fan mail open
