Favourite (or not) films

Last night I watched Alita- Battle Angel, and I found it okay, I didn’t think it was great. I liked her though because she was badass. I have a few favourites, like any film with Spider-Man (especially Tom Holland’s) and A Fault In Our Stars. However, you will NEVER catch me watching or reading Harry Potter. I just fell it’s way too overrated (don’t @ me!) Anyway, what are your favourite films? Which ones do you not like?

Also, I love pretty much any Marvel film or Spider-Man, so I can’t wait for Engame and Far From Home!

Least favourite films :-1:

  • Coraline. It’s too creepy for anyone in this world.

there are a lot of films i have watched which are amazing so i’m just gonna go through the recent ones i have seen…

spiderman: into the spiderverse

Birdbox (not exactly a fave but a good one)

Now you see me

Now you see me too

The killing ground

it is an actual waste of time especially when the baby just dies at the end and the only reason why 3 quarters of that movie exists is because of the baby they found! also the death of the baby is quite sudden

the baby's death (WARNING) its not a very nice one

so basically its the finale between the good guys (this australian couple)and the bad guys (two poachers i think ) and one of the poachers gets really annoyed at the baby for not shutting up so legit snatches it out of the woman’s hands and throws it to the ground … the man checked later if the baby was okay and he just assumed the baby was dead but i mean, it stopped crying of course it’s dead!

another reason why i hate the movie is because there are so many bits of it where they try and make you feel sympathy for the couple (for example, the baby’s death) but it doesn’t really work because there were obvious choices you could’ve made in the situation (like running further into the woods or at least get a branch and beat one of the poachers)

Really? I absolutely loved Coraline…though I’m never picking up a button or a doll again…

Any Marvel movie.
Almost any horror movie.
Any Harry Potter movie.
Any LOTR/Hobbit movie.
Any action, adventure, or murder mystery movie ( which I guess could be a thriller )
Forrest Gump.
Bohemian Rhapsody is my all time favorite, though. Rami Malek’s portrayal of Freddie was amazing. His mannierisms matched Freddie’s really well.

Least Favorites

The Greatest Showman. I’m sorry, but I just hated how it wasn’t correct at portraying P.T. Barnum. It portrayed Barnum as this amazing man who created the best circus, when really, irl, he was a racist person whose first display was of “ The World’s Oldest Woman “. When she died, he put her body on display. I also hated the music…not my type.

The Neverending Story.
I hated it. That’s all I have to say about that.

Tbh, I read more than I watch movies. I would definitely rather see the books I read be played out on the big screen

The best films

  • Coraline
  • The never ending story
  • The worlds end
  • Shaun of the dead
  • Lion king (1st one :ok_hand:)
  • (It’s not exactly a film but a show) Bojack Horseman (I don’t recommend this for people under 12 because it’s a very very sad show.)
  • Narnia :Lion, witch and the wardrobe
  • Split
  • Bohemian Rhapsody (I’ve loved queen all my life. They’re the best band ever don’t @ me)
  • The Belko experiment (Watch at your own risk)
  • Forest gump

Sitting in the middle

  • Nightmare before christmas
  • Corpse bride
  • The lord of the rings

The worst films

  • Edward scissor hands
  • Frozen
  • The little mermaid
  • Tangled
  • The Hobbit
  • My teacher my obsession
  • Ouija : origin of evil (It’s boring don’t waste your time)
  • Every harry potter film ever

Despite my love for all things Spider-Man and Marvel, I haven’t seen Into the Spider-Verse! Is it good?

They’re so bad it’s unbelievable how bad those films are :grimacing:

They’re very over-rated
