Okay, so I thought I would start this thread because I’ve always been fascinated by villain portrayal, both on and off-screen (especially the ones I thought were pretty charming).
I was just wondering what some of your favourite villains of all time are?
What makes them your favourite? Was it the charm? The humour? The intellect?
Personally, I find some of the most intriguing and audience-captivating villains of all time, to be:
Jareth (from the Labyrinth - David Bowie is awesome!)
Lord Voldemort (from Harry Potter)
Jim Moriarty (from Sherlock Holmes)
Hannibal Lecter (from Silence of the Lambs)
The Green Goblin (from Spiderman)
Dr. Facilier (from The Princess and the Frog)
Dr. Drakken (from Kim Possible - don’t judge me, I was only a child, and it stuck, okay. )
Gollum (The Lord of the Rings)
Rumplestiltskin (from Once Upon a Time)
Professor Snape (from Harry Potter)
Professor Quirrel (from Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s stone)
Davy Jones (from Pirates of the Caribbean)
Lord Farquaad (from Shrek)
The Joker (Heath Ledger version - from The Dark Knight)
Mr. Blonde (aka Michael Madsen - from Reservoir dogs)
Tony Montana (from Scarface)
The Phantom (from The Phantom of the Opera)
And Ray Liotta in pretty much all his villain-esque movies…
No judgement here, please! It’s just for fun.
