Hey! 
I don’t think I came across anyone suggesting this.
So… as a writer with multiple stories, I wish to have the same characters from one story to be in another story. It gets tedious and annoying to redo them all over again in the new portal.
My suggestion is to allow is to use the same characters into another story easily, like how we can use the backgrounds and overlays in multiple stories. 
An addition to this, most of us are sending our characters to other writers who needs extras etc, I suggest that we can have a code to send to that writer, and voila, that character is created without going through the creating process. 
Maybe the latter is too much as of now, but I hope my former suggestion is considered.
