It would be cool if we could have custom text colors for the portal instead of specific colors like purple, pink, red, blue, etc. It could maybe look something like this:

What do you mean with for the portal?
Because if it is for the text in story coding (ex in bubbles and text overlays) you can already do that…
Granted, some kind of color wheel would make it easier.
