Wouldn’t it be great if more male authors were featured on a shelf? I don’t think I have ever seen it happen (maybe it has, but I’ve not seen). Maybe there could be a shelf that’s dedicated to celebrating the male authors on the app?? I don’t think they get a lot of recoginition and I would love to see more stories on both Female and Male MC’s from a male’s point of view.

I would love to have it but knowing episode they will also add female authors that write with male MC’s :roll_eyes:

Ugh that would piss me off. I want a male’s point of view not a female’s one where nearly all guys in their stories have the same personalities

Definitely! There has been one in the past, but that’s the problem. One, and it was more than a year ago. We’ve had so many shelves that are similar in topic and monthly shelves with the same type of stories, and we should be getting the hidden gems authors and readers deserve!. Rarely I see male mcs in stories and I would love a shelf like that.

i think its hard to find out who male authors is. but a male mc shelf would be nice

What about that author with that sorority story that got taken down after people said it was a rip off of Envy? Wasn’t the author male? :rofl:

Nah I want stories from a point of view from an actual male author. There are actually quite a few male authors on the app

Yes, since the male voice is a minority on the shelf, it would be a great idea to feature stories by male authors about male MCs.
What if a female author researches really well and writes from a male perspective? Why would that story not be appropriate for a shelf like this?

Cause I want stories from a point of view of a Male author. I wanna see how they write about female MC’s and how they write about any male charcters. We’ve seen enough stories from female authors and how they write about male characters. Besides, all the research in the world won’t turn a female author into an actual male. This should be a time to celebrate or acknowledge the unacknowledged and that is Male authors. I hope I made sense lol
