I think Episode has definitely made strides in this category, but I still think there should be a male and female version of all the hairs we currently have access to, as a feminine man who has very long ombre hair, I appreciate the effort they have gone to to make this feature more inclusive, but I still find myself longing for certain hairstyles when I’m trying to make a character that looks like me that I can’t access as a male avatar - such as the bouffant long wavy, long wavy parted, messy sock bun, and the short wavy ombre hairstyles. I think making all of the hairstyles unisex gives us a larger spectrum for the characters we can create, and that it would be a good addition to the storytelling.
