Oh my gosh… this story seems interesting. Although, I don’t have this story on the app, I don’t think I’ll read it if it was available for me to read. Don’t even get me started on the 40 gems… that is mind blowing. Why would someone spend 40 dreams on an outfit? That’s crazy.

Nothing makes me exit out of a story faster than stupid gem choices that they try to guilt trip you into by making the other option horrible,
Like, pay 40 gems to wear this dress or go with muddy clothes? Can’t the other option just be for a normal dress instead?
There was this one featured story, Pitch Perfect (I think), where you either had to pay gems for some outfit or audition in a towel.
Come to think of it, that story also had the whole ‘walking in on some guy in a towel’ scene also.
A Tale of Two Hotties? You know a story’s going to be bad when they have the word ‘hottie’ in the title. Just… no.

I just looked and 60 gems are $7.99 AUD. For 8 bucks I could buy a lot of things that I would enjoy significantly more than watching a cartoon character that doesn’t even look like me wearing a nicely drawn outfit for one scene.

Apparently the results were inconclusive, but it looks like they’re testing the opposite scenario 
I live in Mexico. $8 AUD I believe costs more than the minimum daily (not hourly) wage.

60 gems is a new level of ridiculous. I can sorta see 20. 30 was pushing it and 40 was a joke, but 60?
Who has the money to pay that? This is an app targeted towards teenagers. I’m an adult with a job and $8 for one choice that doesn’t impact anything except two lines of dialogue is ridiculous. That’s almost the cost of my gym membership (Australian one) for a week. A great ass > a pointless gem choice.

I’d compare this to something like a Fortnite skin or emote- But even that’s not a good comparison, because you can actually use the emotes and skins you buy over and over again… rather than just… having your character wear it for a two minute scene…
