This is much worse, an effortless story.
They were probably like, “Uh oh, we haven’t created the Limelight equivalent to ‘Mr. Popular and I’ yet. Better crack on with that.”

I’m just a bit confused. I replayed this since this officially gives free gems now, and there’s only like one actual gem choice (the kissing one in acting class). Why is it inconsistent?

I can never be surprise anymore about anything episode puts out as a story (also update they added a character creator so you can customize yourself and your name). But again it’s just the repetative nonsense that episode loves to share.
Someone on instagram mentioned on the post that people should not hate on this story because someone worked hard on this story but it’s pretty evident they didn’t. I haven’t done a replay I’ll admit but the beta had very choppy directing and again a repetitive love triangle/ in episode world we don’t know what condoms are story. How is this someone’s best work? Especially from the episode team who I would think would be on the better side of directing/plot writing.

Tbh when it comes to Episode, I believe it doesn’t matter how “hard” someone worked anyway. If they’re putting out shite, teaching readers bad lessons and the directing is significantly worse in comparison to their other stories, we should say so. They force new readers to read these stories now and they promote it on almost every page of the app, so I kinda expect it to, you know, not be a massive deterrent

I’m reading because this story is too much.
The MC can’t afford an in-utero paternity test, so she goes on a Maury-style “who’s the daddy” type TV show. We have to pick aliases. I made mine Regina Phalange, while Zane and the other guy are Chanandler Bong and Crap Bag respectively.

See that’s what I’m saying!! Like this was not hard work especially for people that should be experts on an app and yet the whole story was just a hot mess! They were like “share constructive criticism” and I did and then they were like WOW YOU’RE SPREADING HATE! like it’s just not good work and the authors who wrote it should know that it isn’t great work which is why I thought they would because it was a beta story originally.

Here there be finale spoilers
As expected, we were asked in the final episode who we wanted to be the father. Contrary to what I expected, it turned out to be the guy I DIDN’T choose! So if there’s one good thing about the story, it’s that Episode gave a little dose of realism by making the father Crap Bag when I said I wanted it to be Chanandler Bong.
Buuuuuut then it asked who I wanted to raise the baby with me. I wanted to choose that she’d raise it alone, but I had to pick the guy who wasn’t the biological father, just to see what would happen. Despite not being related to the fetus, barely knowing me, and not even being in a relationship with me, he agreed! What the fuck?

- You have to restart, or you’ll just play with the default resuming where you left off.
I’ll give the benefit of the doubt to the writer’s work ethic, assuming they are really new. However, Episode has the resources to help that person. We’ve seen well-directed stories as proof of that. Yet in this story, we got HILARIOUS directing errors like a speech bubble instead of a thought bubble, so the MC said out loud in the middle of dinner, to her parents and her potential baby daddy, “He might be the father of my child” with NO reaction from anyone.
