I’m the worst friend in the world? yeah. I know. I’m fucking horrible. I’ve been so busy that I haven’t been able to remember my best friends fucking birthday. but listen. finn.

I love you. you know that. I’m not going to make this post long and drawn out. I’m not going to pretend there’s emotion there isn’t. I’m going to tell you the truth.

when I met you I felt like everything in my life just got a little better. I was in a dark place. constantly fighting with someone who I thought loved me. constantly hating myself. constantly feeling like I was a complete failure. you changed that. your stupid jokes and mindless flirting somehow sunk into my heart and took root. every day you watered it. making me laugh, making me smile, making me forget my problems even if only for a little while. you made me happy. soon that little seed you planted in my heart began to grow. slowly. at first. still joking. still getting to know each other. then something happened. you didn’t just water it you opened the flood gates of your own heart and poured them into mine. I didn’t just grow, I flourished. you created a forest in my chest that stretched it’s vines into every aspect of my life. you made me a better person. someone who could make others laugh. someone who could make a difference in people’s lives. someone who felt confident enough in themselves to take on new challenges, new people, new ways of thinking. you grew me into someone who can grow more in others. that is the biggest blessing I have ever received. you are the biggest blessing. you have touched my life and forever changed the way I see the world. from watching tv on rabbit to matching pfp’s to flirty rp’s to sweet goodnight messages. you’ve made me who I am today. you’ve made me someone who isn’t afraid to take on the world because I know I’ll always have you there. no matter how far apart our forests grow now, they’re still growing. still changing, but my heart will always remember who planted that seed. who started it all. who gave me new life. it was you. you are my best friend, my secret crush, my soulmate.
