HEHEHE! Okay then Though it might have to be Sci-fi or fantasy related to be able to combine all the different time periods they’re from. … Might be a couple months away, so I can focus on my other stories first.
I love this so much! I read a book abiut tek months ago with ideas for practice a lot like this, so I love it! But that was more to write how your character would feel in different situations…
I’m gonna use protagonist from my story, Just an Average Girl. I’ll be answering as her, in first person!
Your character enters a room. What’s the first thing she sees? (I think this really helps with character development)
Does she prefer sweet, salt or spicy?
Use this question to talk about the culture of your world, too, if you’re in a fantasy world!

(Reader chooses name)
This character doesn’t have any family or cultural traditions. (At least not yet anyways)
I’d love to, we always did fun things with my family. We had game nights, TV evenings, days out… Now we don’t anymore.
Now my father is too busy, he’s home only on Christmas, New Year and my birthday. And even then for only few hours.
What’s your favourite theme park activity?
How do you imagine a perfect date?
Favourite kind of pizza?
Has your character(s) participated in family or cultural traditions? Do they participate regularly or did they discontinue the tradition(s) and if so, why?
He used to be involved with family traditions all the time. In Syria, a lot of cultural events were large community affairs. It hasn’t been the same since his family moved to France, so for most of his life it’s been family-only, and without his father present, even the events that were exclusive to family before weren’t the same. Within the last few years, they’ve stopped due to his brother’s disappearance and his mother leaving to get another law degree.
She spent a lot of her youth in and out of the hospital so, despite regular visits from family, she never felt as close to their traditions as she would have liked. Her limited involvement ended altogether when she was eighteen and had a major falling-out with her parents, but she’ll sometimes spend holidays with her younger brother.
She loves pepperoni and bacon.
The only family traditions Cicely has is having a big family dinner during the holidays. She’s nervous about the upcoming dinner and doesn’t want to attend. Due to having a huge secret she has yet to tell her family.
A chair by a window, because it reminds her of her childhood, when she was happy. Before envy possessed her.
Has your character(s) participated in family or cultural traditions? Do they participate regularly or did they discontinue the tradition(s) and if so, why?
Yes. In the supernatural realm, there’s a Mancer Gathering, which is for all sorcerers and witches alike. The ruling family leads the feast. She used to participate, but later stopped because she felt like an outcast…
Then “killed” everyone but spared her family at the last Gathering.
Mancer Gathering, that is so cool! <3 <3
What’s the difference between sorcerers and witches in this U?
Sorcerers/sorceresses are wiser and have more knowledge. They’re kinda “upper class” and well respected. Whereas, witches and wizards are very common. They are everywhere. Some of them are respected, but most of the time, those are where the mancers come from. Only a few sorcerers are actually mancers, it’s uncommon. Some demons do sorcery as well.
