i only ask cause dom & sub are um… not terms you’d use for a PG13 book & the cover is definitely-
sexual.
if it’s just a metaphor, then i’d recommend changing some stuff because this seems sexual lol.

Uhm… Now that I looked at the cover and the description, @epy.sgis right your story idea, is a little too “extreme”…
But let’s not judge a book from its cover, I’ll give it a look to see if we’re right.
