I am trying to have my character walk from off-screen to spot 1 in zone 3 then I want the camera to follow him to zone 2 where he stops but I want that all happening while the camera is zoomed on the character’s feet.

replace with “&” command to make the zoom and the character to walk at the same time.
I suppose the character is walking to zone 3? If that’s the case, you need to indicate.
And to zoom from zone 2 to 3, you can use pan. &pan to zone 3 in T
