Hi everyone!
So a few days ago I posted a thread asking if anyone has had issues with their sound effects not playing when you previewed your stories on the app, and it seems like a lot of other people had the same issues as me! What seemed to be going on was that if you had a few of the same sound effects scattered through the story, you could only hear the sound effect once and never again in the rest of the story.
I found the solution for those of you still having issues with this!
It’s super simple, make sure you always put “sound off” after putting your sound in the script! (it doesn’t matter where you put the “sound off” as long as it’s after your sound effect and before the next effect!) Let me give you an example:
@CHARACTER is sit_type_neutral
sound typing
@zoom reset
sound off
CHARACTER (stretch_tired)
Wow, I’m tired.
@CHARACTER is sit_type_neutral
sound typing
And so fourth! I think it has something to do with “resetting” the sounds, and you should be able to still hear the sound effects in the app
