Okay, so I scrolled down and btw, thanks for helping me monitor my thread! I’m pretty sure I haven’t replied in like five weeks or something.
Ah, procrastination really vibes with me.

Point of this post: A quick update for tomorrow (since it’s about to be the weekends, yay)
So about what I said about the baroque thing above- maybe I’ll have to remodel an existing ballroom background, because I realized it really put my drawing skills to test, and it went down ugly. But don’t worry, I’m not straying from the castle theme. Tomorrow, I’ll be posting edited versions of Craxi’s royal palace. And yes, I am still working on the fancy restaurant. Thank you for your patience!
(And sorry if you thought this was a background/overlay update. but seeing all the new stuff come recently is really reassuring for new ideas)

Small Update- Right so no upload today… but I HAVE A REASON. So the overlays are kind of taking a long time over Craxi’s castle (the different detailed bits).
Now, I’m no professional editor so I guess this doesn’t really make sense but I crop out everything and then piece it back together.

And right now, it doesn’t really have a realistic feel with the colours being so bold, it doesn’t have tone and shade, and I’m trying to work on it. Tomorrow I will also put it in a background. Thanks!

By the way, here’s an overlay of the Hamill Grand Foyer. (Honestly, I flipped the other side since it was completely identical except for the marble floor, so make note of the floor pattern being different, which is why the overlay is of the entire bottom half save for the carpet)

So I was thinking, I should probably give you a hint about the castle, so here’s a sneak peek. The things is, the sides have to be covered by bushes as well because of the ice in the original photo, and I’m planning to put a pathway, gate, bushes, and night and day versions. I kind of slacked off today.

I’m sorry, this isn’t a request thread. Cinnamon posts their backgrounds here on this post and you have to scroll through to find them (I don’t remember a maze tbh).

I would suggest making a request for background on one of the many posts where artists are willing to make backgrounds specifically for you.
