After I started playing Horizon Zero Dawn, I decided to approach video games by playing on one of the harder difficulties. Not the hardest, but harder. It seemed difficult at first, but I adapted to everything quickly. I don’t know how everyone else does with this strategy, but I’ve gotten better at video games since then.
In Skyrim, I started playing new characters on Expert. Thankfully I don’t rage quit! Once my Runa hit level 15, I did something… I don’t know, brave? I turned the difficulty to Legendary, and that’s when simple bandits and bears started being more frightening.
