Hey I have a question. In my story I’m offering full customization including an option to add glasses. I want to give two glasses options - but also keeping in mind that it is a medieval fantasy type story. Since I’m giving full customization - including gender and body type, these are the only glasses that are the same across all three character types. I’d like to know what you think I should use. Specifically people that wear glasses, which glasses would you prefer? These are obviously very slim pickings (sigh Episode) but hopefully there’s at least one you like!

Thin rimless glasses plastic brown looks similar to reader glasses and oval thin rimmed glasses metal orange / thin round rim glasses metal gold look the most similar to the type of glasses my mom wears.
I think metallic colors are a better choice for a fantasy story because any other color makes me think of the cheap plastic readers you can get from dollar stores.
Also why did they make the names for glasses so complicated? You could easily cut out the color or material descriptors, it’s not like Episode has fifty completely different pairs of glasses.

As someone who wears glasses and has a very hard time picking frames I actually like, I find the most common frame shape is somewhere in between rectangle and cat eye oval. Metal thin frames look better. (Depending on the character)
Honestly the shape of the glasses can look better on different characters, A lot of the time I do not add glasses to my avatar on episode because not only is it not available, I do not like the options for glasses that they have.
If there was a way to pick what glasses you wanted for each character and or have more options (Episode really needs to add more options) I would be more inclined to put glasses on my characters.

If you’re going for a medieval fantasy type of look, then the Thin Rim Metal glasses make the most sense. Those are the ones most accurate to the medieval time period. Though if it’s a fantasy I suppose you could always use the magic excuse to explain why other styles are present. I know we have pretty limited resources on the portal when it comes to period accurate clothing/accessories.

I decided to go with the ones you suggested because they really do make the most sense. I was willing to dismiss the medieval part in regards to glasses if people wanted but seems most people agree with you! Thank you all @Mirwren @SilverLady
