Global Issues and other problems on Earth! šŸŒŽ

Hmmm, it would be interesting to know…

It’s definitely something that shouldn’t be forgotten…

Some people actually claim that we’re dead and we’re all in hell, something like The good place. I don’t personally believe in this but today’s reality is terrifying, it shows at which extend humans are willing to go for money.

Yep :disappointed_relieved:
I feel like people just ignore stuff/forget things like that… which isn’t good.
There are also people who don’t care at all, just because it’s not happening to them.

I just love that title

I don’t think I have to say anything about this.

I honestly didn’t even know climate change was a topic back then…hmm… no one informed me back then… :eyes: Or I have just been living under a rock…

Really? I’ve been informed of global warming and ways to prevent that since I was in elementary school (2003-2008). We studied it as a real subject in school

What? Seriously? It was never even mentioned when I went to school

Italy but I studied in Switzerland for a bit. We’re really close so this is even more confusing :no_mouth:

It really scares me how mean people are to each other and don’t think about anyone other than their own family. How can we change stuff if all they do is think about their own, like climate change but also racism and other discrimination.

Just… How… How can you not see or feel or give a crap.

I’m getting a bit pessimistic and that’s part of the problem, if we don’t believe change is possible we probably won’t even try right? Even if we will fail 99,9% of the time, not trying at all is a 100% not going to do anything.

Do you guys think protesting helps?

You’re right. It’s impossible for me to understand some people. The scariest thing is that we can’t do anything about it.

If we could look into the brain of someone else we might find the solution, but that’s not gonna happen (fortunatly ).

To be honest that’s what’s going to stop us from doing anything great so many times in the future. It also has in the past. This is just an example, but how many people have given up/not started their projects because people told them it’s not going to work?

There are so many people who (like you said) don’t care, but there are also a lot of people who care, but don’t believe a change is possible.

I’m not sure tbh, what do you think? It brings people who want to want to achieve the same thing together, but it doesn’t help much… if that makes sense…

Yeah it makes sense, finding like minded people and trying to get attention to the issue at hand. But I don’t expect a lot of people suddenly opening their eyes because of a protest. Maybe some, but you’ll also get the attention of the opposites.

I was just thinking: Famous artists, politician’s or other people who a lot of others look up to. They might be able to change people’s mind a bit easier than us (random person on the street, interrupting people from getting to their destination.)

True! Well step 1. Im going to (try to) stay optimistic and just keep trying, even if it’s very little things and share that.

Sorry for claiming 2 seperate messages to reply
