So you know with the guidlines changing I wanted to commission an art piece with the mc holding a gun I’ve seen multiple authors commissions something like that but I’m scared episode wont approve or does the gun rule only apply to the covers of story ?

I think it’s particularly covers! If you’re not sure, I’d recommend submitting a ticket to Episode to ask 
It only applies for art and covers in all, you can have it in your story, just not as an art piece
