Guidelines Madness

Ok… So I started thinking today about the community response to the new guidelines. Although it’s starting to quiet down, I feel like a lot of the “drama” with the new guidelines is because the Episode team hasn’t made any more public comments about it. (Other than the Updating our Content Guidelines Post) We’re all left to jump to conclusions :woman_shrugging:

I know I (and others) have tried emailing the team with our questions, but were told they couldn’t be answered at this time. :woman_facepalming:

Common Questions I've Seen
  • What swears need to be censored?
  • What counts as “sexual touching” on a cover? (Many rejected covers w/out sexual touching lately)
  • Can babies be on the covers of stories?
  • Do we need to give the reader a choice to say no (on the character’s behalf) any time a character wants to have sex?

At this point, I really feel like we need the team to come help us understand what the new guidelines really mean for us and to be open and ready to answer questions. We want to know what these changes mean for us.

If you agree, and would really appreciate a public post from the team addressing our common questions, please comment support below!
