Gun Shot Flash Scene

hi!

i’m trying to show my character shooting a gun with a flash but the flash shows really late, is there a way they can happen at the same time?

when i try doing

&transition fade in white in 0.01 AND DANIELLE is shoot_gun_angry

it says its an invalid command? idk what to do :((

put the & on the first line, it will cause the flash to happen at the same time she shoots the gun. The @ means it waits until the animation is done.

or

@DANIELLE starts shoot_gun_angry
@transition fade in white in 0.01
