Hair Changes for later in the script

Is there anyway to change the hair on limelight?
Like for example right now, my character has long hair, but I want her to cut it off later in the story.
I’ve tried to play around with it a few times, but can not get her to change her hair without it changing for the whole story.

Also want to start messing around with props too, so if you have information on how to do that as well I would be very thankful.

Don’t change the hair in the character settings.
