I was wondering if anyone has wrote a story and based it off something that happened in real life. It’s a good convo started plus I’d love to hear some of your stories !
My story hold for the cringeee is based on my current relationship , however I’ve had to change a few things because I can’t base a full story off getting bueno milkshakes and watching movies 
No, I haven’t but I might one day and self-publish it. atm, I just write for fun like 100% of the time
Not really, but certain aspects and scenarios of the stories I write are based on real life and things I experienced first hand. I find those easier to write in comparison to scenes that I just make up
I usually create characters that are loosely based on the personalities of real-life people I know. It’s way easier to create characters this way because real-life people aren’t one-dimensional. Sometimes, I create composite characters, a combination of the personalities of people I know in real life.

I never found a fantasy world through a secret door. but the girl herself and her family life is based off me, i moved from minnesota to hawaii with my dad and 3 brothers after my mom died to leave the past behind us. the fantasy elements of this story are something i used
