Having trouble with layers

Hey! So I’m kind of having a hard time with layers.
So I tried using this: @CHARACTER spot % X Y in zone # at LAYER X , but it didn’t work. After that I tried using @CHARACTER moves to LAYER X, but it didn’t work either. What code should I use?

Maybe try writing « layer » in lowercase letters
