Hello, creators what’s the most annoying thing you’ve come across?

I have never created anything for episode
Just thought I should get that information out of the way.

I’d love to hear about your mistakes throughout you creating a episode.

By the way how long dose it normally take you to create one episode? And what are you talents? :face_with_monocle::slight_smile:

I have just started writing stories in episodes and one of the most annoying problems is the trial and error method that I use for spot directing, animating overlays, etc. Its not really ANNOYING but the time that takes is kinda long lmao.

It depends on how many scenes are there, how many overlays are used, how many outfits are included, etc.
And in talents, i think I’m only good in the art stuff lmao

Moved to Episode fan Community since this doesn’t fit into any Creator’s Corner category. Make sure to check out our Forum Tutorial for more info about creating topics, and feel free to PM me if you’ve got questions.

I use advanced directing, so one episode could take about two weeks to a month
Then again the fact I have ADHD and a few other things doesn’t help, so it’s more like years for me

Most annoying thing are the limits to our directing and creativity as well as story plot

The covers getting rejected for like something not that serious, like come on :weary: (they are like, 13+ app but most kids know A LOT at that age :joy: :full_moon_with_face:)

Directing scenes that need a lot of background characters, and spot directing each one of them…

Having a chapter ready to publish, but not being able to because of pending BG/overlay approvals.

I didn’t think there was any limits to what you could create. Then again that kinda makes sense. :face_with_monocle:
Not that it’s remotely similar but hey I can feel you. I am dyslexic and reading/typing can be hard but things really do take a while to do things.:frowning::confounded:

Ooh they must really care about you create for episode. I thought they just let anything pass. That’s cool.

I knew A LOT of stuff by at time because of my neighborhood we were all relatively the same age but yeah that’s crazy

Yes, yes, and yes!!

Trying to find the right animation takes most of my time directing, I tried writing dialogue first and then adding the animations but that almost took longer and got me really confused. Yes I know a lot of the animations by now I’ve been writing for years but sometimes and I don’t and that is one of my pet peeves.

Also finding music, it’s not really categorized in anyway, so I have to click on each one to find one that fits.

It takes me forever to write a chapter because I do a lot of advanced directing and branching and I make all my background and overlays myself so that also takes time.

Anyways sorry for the rant good luck :sparkles:

I hate “reviewing”, episode takes so much time :joy:

Hm… mistakes…
OH YEA I FRICKING FORGOT TO SAVE MY ENTIRE SCRIPT

Talents?
Mini Games ,Overlay coding (visual cc/fashioning)

When that little error on the previewer says something like “story node not found!” and I have to reload the whole tab.

  • It can take up to 2 hours for me, depending on how my day goes. But now that I’m learning more, I think it might take longer.

  • Does my “writing” count as a talent? Idk, I’ve just started writing my story-- trying to plan everything out well.

Same I’m dyslexic
