Help/advice wanted! (Experienced coders)

Hello fellow creators,

I’m currently in the process of writing my first Episode story, but am already making plans for my next project. I’m hoping to make my next work a lot more interactive, with choices that matter, mini-games, multiple endings, character customisation and multiple LIs. I feel like in order to achieve this, I’m going to need a lot of help.

Are there writers out there who are willing to help out rookies who aren’t very well versed in more complicated coding? I’m proud of my current story and think it’s been well written, but I really want to try and make something that gives the reader more control.

Any advice would really be appreciated!

Character customisation isn’t actually complicated at all because there are multiple template creators but the rest I understand if you need help with. Usually you can find mini game creators but it depends how complex you want to make it and what your story is about. You will want to do research on the point system through videos or threads on here and that will help you with the rest.

I appreciate it. I won’t be writing this story for a while but I 've already drafted out the plot and I just need someone experienced to help me with the coding. I’ve done quite a bit of research but I’m struggling to put it into practice.

What I struggle most with is the if/elif/else thing. No matter how many instructions I read or templates I copy, it never seems to work when I put it in Writer’s Portal. I know these are the key codes for remembering decisions.

I don’t think I can help, but try looking at dara amarie’s website, she has dress game templates, one of which uses if/elif/else thingies, it could help, idk?
