I’m looking for errors in the code that the previewer sometimes doesn’t catch that results in this. Could you take a pic of the code? If not I can try and explain in more detail.
So when doing an overlay you cannot use “and” to put them together. Also when using “and” it must be all uppercase like “AND.” You should be using “THEN” instead of “AND.” This is because the overlay cannot do all the actions at the same time.
Thank you for the tip, but that’s definitely not the problem. I deleted the whole intro section to see if it was causing the problem and it wasn’t (also I’ve written a previous six chapters not doing that, and this is a new issue).
Interestingly, you made me try deleting all the dialogue stuff (leaving the if/else part) and try again and it worked. IDK what that means for the coding though - does it just dislike dialogue?
You definitely can have both upper or lower case “AND”.
You can also command the overlays all at the same time, that’s what the command “AND” is for.
This is only for looping the overlays. That, you can only use “THEN”.
@Banana-Child This may be the writer’s portal issue, because the script looks fine. You’d need to file a ticket for the episode team to review your problem.
