Help me make an Art Cover for my story!

So, I want to try to learn how to make art covers. I have the app ibis paint x, a lot of people have recommended it. I’ve tried playing around with it and I don’t really know where to start. i have my normal cover…

and I don’t know if i’m supposed to trace it or how to do it! If someone could help me out, it would be much appreciated!
