To switch over from cinematic to spotlight you need to change the format like what @epi.sophia mentioned above.
As for the spot direction in spotlight format, the placement will stay as default if you decide not to change its scales, spots, and the direction of the character’s facing. So it’s completely up to you.
As I’ve had already mentioned, having to make more than one spotlight character appear on the same screen like the screenshot from the featured stories provided is not available to the community, this includes making the characters tappable.
