Help me with this please :)

So I’m struggling with a scene where characters bump into each other.
CHARACTER1 is already on screen and then CHARACTER2 enters and @CHARACTER2 starts fall. But after the character falls she automatically stands up and the other is reaching for her on the ground. But she already stands without me making her stand up.
Why is that? I really want to use the fall animation and not the others :confused:

@pause for a beat
&CHAR2 enters from right to screen right
&CHAR2 walks to spot 1.138 126 25 AND CHAR2 does it while walk_talk_phone_neutral_loop

&CHAR2 starts fall
@CHAR1 starts react_startled_surprised AND CHAR1 faces right
@pause for a beat
@CHAR1 starts reach_kneel_neutral
@pause for 2
@CHAR2 starts standup_neutral

Like what to do, why does she stands up even without standup animation :woman_facepalming:t3: :woman_facepalming:t3: :woman_facepalming:t3:

It’s probably a glitch. A lot of users have been having issues. Try it again, if it doesn’t work try a different animation like idle_fallen

It’s not a glitch. It’s just too many commands and too many &. These changes should fix it:

@CHAR1 is listen_phone_eyeroll_disgusted
@pause for a beat
@CHAR2 spot 1.138 500 25
(Having your CHAR enter and walk to a spot at the same time doesn’t work properly… in order to have a character enter into a scene with a certain spot direction, you have to place offscreen already spotted and walk them in. I have a guide on what I call Spot Walking here.)
@CHAR2 walks to spot 1.138 126 25 AND CHAR2 does it while walk_talk_phone_neutral_loop
(I removed the pause here)
@CHAR2 starts fall
(since your using “starts” there’s no reason to use a &)
@CHAR1 starts react_startled_surprised AND CHAR1 faces right
@pause for a beat
@CHAR1 starts reach_kneel_neutral
@pause for 2
@CHAR2 starts standup_neutral
@CHAR1 starts idle_armscrossed_neutral_loop
