Help Please! Having height issues on my character while spot directing

So I’m currently ripping my hair out over this issue. I am using spot directing to make my girl appear a bit shorter than other people. I know how to make my girl move from a different position while staying the height I chose for her. The problem is how do I make my camera follow my character to that position. I know if your not using spot directing it goes like this:

@follow CHARACTER to screen left in zone 3

BUT, for spot directing I thought it would go like this:

@follow CHARACTER to spot 1.280 646 -21

but the system tells me it’s not a valid directing command.

Also, when my character enters the scene (using spot directing) she walks REALLY slow even when she moves to a different position in that same zone. Anyone know why it does this?

I hope there are ways to fix these issues that I’m having. Thanks you!

Hii! No need for bald spots, hun.
Here’s how you do it:

@CHAR spot 1.280 200 -21 in zone 1

&pan to zone 2
@CHAR walks to spot 1.280 646 -21

As for the duration of the walk, here’s how you can speed it up:

@CHAR walks to spot 1.280 646 -21 in 1.5

You can make the CHAR walk as fast as you’d like by adding in a timer to your command

Wow, I didn’t know I was going to get a reply so fast. Thank you so much for you help! I’m truly grateful. Quick question though I’m assuming the regular speed is 1.5? :slight_smile:

I’m not sure what the average speed is, I think it’s 3.

I think it’s 2.7 seconds.
