HELP: Random Overlay Shows Up?

36%20PM
This is meant to be a screenshot with Raegan (the blondie) sitting in the seat of a car (the black overlay).
This is the piece of directing for what I have right now.
EXT. MANHATTAN SKYLINE CAR LOOP - NIGHT
@overlay INT. POLICE CAR create
@overlay INT. POLICE CAR moves to layer 2
@overlay INT. POLICE CAR opacity 1
@RAEGAN moves to layer 5
&RAEGAN stands screen center
&RAEGAN is idle_sit_serious_loop

I just… want… my own black leather seat overlay. But this other purple car shows up, and screws me over. Please, I just want to code this scene.
Help?!
Why is it here?!
How do I get rid of it?!
It’s not even an overlay I’ve ever used.

That overlay is built into that background. To get rid of it, add your overlay next to the background name instead of using the create command.

EXT. MANHATTAN SKYLINE CAR LOOP - NIGHT with INT. POLICE CAR at layer 2

Why doesn’t the car show up when you view the background?

Because it’s an overlay. Overlays don’t show up when you view backgrounds in the art catalog. It only shows just the background image.

got it. I’ve never used a background with an attached overlay, as I seldom use the ones provided by Episode.
Thank you!
Sorry that I’m an amateur :upside_down_face:
