Help w overlays for the 7th time

heres my script
few things:

the pause was there to help me relocate the overlays but some of them did not show up

even if the overlays do show up, they always fade out after a second, and i want them all to stay on screen at the same time, but they always fade away

also all the overlays have the wrong size and location for some odd reason.

Here’s what I changed:

  • When creating overlays and putting down the initial information, I find that it is more likely to run without problems if you set it to all occur at once (use the &overlay instead of @.overlay)
  • When causing overlays to fade in or out, I find that is more likely to run smoothly if you set an initial opacity for it to fade from (opacity 0 then to opacity 1 in [# of seconds])
  • When doing spot directing, for characters or overlays, there are usually less problems the more specific you are–placing each overlay in a specific zone helps the program to control it (spot X Y in zone # [in # of seconds on occasion])
