I wanna tear my hair so baad.
I have looping background as an overlay at layer 1 and my second overlay isn’t showing up as layer 2? PLEASE HELP ME, I can only continue my story if everything is on place.
I can show my script etc. so others can understand things better.
Did you code that it should be at layer 2?
yea
&overlay “OVERLAY NAME” shifts to RANDOM NUMBERS in zone 1 at layer 2
Maybe try instead on top of that line of code typing:
&overlay OVERLAY NAME moves to layer 2

If the overlay is set at the start of the scene, drop the “shifts to”. So:
INT. BACKGROUND with OVERLAY NAME to 1.000 0 0 in zone 1 at layer 2"
If the overlay is set later in the scene, just break it up to:
&overlay OVERLAY NAME shifts to 0 0 in zone 1
&overlay OVERLAY NAME moves to layer 2
I believe you can only use “at layer” if it’s set with the background at the beginning.
