So I don’t know what wrong with it but in my new story you pick if you wanna be a female or male doc it uses if (NIGHT =2) {
} elif (NIGHT =3) {

So it’s saying “ unexpected block end: Did you forget the { which goes with this} or forget to put the word “choice” at the start of this choice option

It’s a story branch tho

you need a } under the elif line so it would be:

if (NIGHT =2) {
} elif (NIGHT =3) {
}

I just tried that and it didn’t work. I’m not sure what’s going on episode but it the first that has happen to me.

Are these written as this in your script? If so, this is what’s causing your error and you need a # before the word “SCENE” and a # before the end bracket

This here you’ve got a return between “ATHLETIC” and “walks to.” Try deleting that space and resaving. (Happens right at the end of scene 4)

You’re welcome :slight_smile: The error message definitely doesn’t help since it says it’s an issue with your brackets, but in reality is something within the brackets. The error message says that because it can’t read what’s inside the brackets properly, but it knows there’s an error within them somewhere. So next time, if you get the error, make sure your brackets are correct, then check all coding inside the bracket(s) in question :slight_smile::heart:
