Help With An Overlay Animation

Hello, Everyone! I’m having quite the dilemma and need some help. :hushed:

Alright so I’m trying to create a scene for my fantasy story. In this scene I want to have an Arcane Seal break/shatter and was wondering if there was a way to manipulate the overlay to do so other than using just fade? If anyone can help I would truly appreciate it! :grin::sparkling_heart::revolving_hearts::two_hearts:
