What is the best way to start a story? Or how do you like to start your story?

I think you should choose an interesting and impactant first scene, not something like the MC waking up to go to work or school. You could also start with a very important moment and then have the narrator say something among the lines of “but i’m getting ahead of myself, let me tell you how that all started”. Hope it helps!

Your beginning should hook a reader. You shouldn’t start your story with a ton of narration. It’s boring, and doesn’t make someone want to read on. A little bit of narration is fine, though. Hope this helped! :two_hearts: :two_hearts:
