Don’t use brackets for the animation when using the “is” command.

Specify the zone when placing characters to avoid errors.
That background is 3-zoned. It’s black screen because you zoned it out of the background. Move to zone 3.

i coded zone 3, and its still in zone 1 (i think). ig you know this background so i want the scene to be in the lockers zone and its on board.

have you reset the zoom? It may be possible that you’re zoomed in and so you can’t see the character?
Have you changed it to @cut to zone 3?

Just add a @zoom reset after you write the background name.

I meant by this if you have changed it. If it still doesn’t show then chances are you’ve made camera changes in your previous scene and it brought it over to this school scene, which is why you’re seeing it as in zone 1. Just reset the zoom.
