Hi guys I wanted to know if anybody knew how to do the split screen in half phone call scene I’ve seen the tutorial from one writer but I can’t find the proper app to use and my MacBook won’t let me download the original photoshop app ? Is there any other app or different way anybody else does this please help

Hey! If I can help you a little bit with this then I’ll be happy 
I’ve done this before and I used Paint 3D! Don’t know if it’s available for mac though. But it’s not the main thing you need.
I used this app to put a thick line to where I’m going to cut (diagonally for example)
And then I goto a remove bg site and remove the side I don’t want
Remove Background from Image for Free – remove.bg
And it usually turns out like this:
(but with the other side of course not white, but empty after using the website.) And it will then be uploaded as an overlay and it turns out pretty great!

I haven’t tried it but you could probably use the website on iPhone. 
I use pixlr E, quite easy! Just open the background, then use the “Lasso Select” For split screens I go for the type “Polygon” after that I lasso around what I want to cut, and once I’m done I right click and press “cut” and you’re all done! But hey if this is too complicated for you, my messages are always open and I can help you with any split screen
