Help with directing background characters?

I’m just now trying to create my episodes on the computer so some things are confusing. I want my background characters to do things but everything I try it says it is wrong. I got my character to walk in the background and stop but now I want my character to stand there texting on his phone. Currently, I have

@TREVOR enters from left to back far right

this worked so now Trevor is standing in the background but everytime I try to get him to text it wont work. Can someone help? I don’t know what I’m doing lol. :sweat_smile:

What code do you use to make him text?

Once you get your character to the position you want, try adding
AND CHARACTER is text_phone_neutral_loop
