Help with error (choices)!

I don’t understand what is wrong here, can someone help me? It gives me an error on the second question.

INT. CELLPHONE - DAY
NARRATOR
You have a new message
choice
" Open your messages " {
NARRATOR (ANONYMOUS)
How is it going?
}

choice
" Reply " {
NARRATOR
I think it’s going as planned.
She looked pretty worried at school today.
}

    NARRATOR
You have a new message

choice
" Open your messages " {
NARRATOR (ANONYMOUS)
Perfect!
We need to keep it that way.
She can’t become suspicious.
PLAY IT COOL!!!
Or else…
}

You have spaces between the choices, but you also have no dialogue before Reply! I added in some dialogue for you

You could also change the dialogue as well!
Just make sure your choices doesn’t have spaces like this

choice
“Open your Message”{
dialogue
}

“Don’t open”{
dialogue
}

The empty space between don’t open and the }
Can cause issues in your scipt

Hey I was wondering if you could help me with this problem I’m having with choices. :expressionless: It keeps saying unexpected character. Do you know what may be causing the problem?

But as I was saying… I’m having this problem with choices, I have watched like 3 tutorials about choices and I do everything right and as soon as I’m finished it says unexpected character. Do you have any idea why that coukld be or what can fix my problem? :thinking:

I recommend to read over: HOW TO: Simple Choices

You are missing a { at the end of the options at lines 2934 and 2949
