Put the layers after you have them appear in the scene by making them stand in certain positions or by spotting : )
Try this:
@SUPERHERO FEMALE spot 0.577 43 203 in zone 1 at layer 0 AND SUPERHERO FEMALE faces right AND SUPERHERO spot 0.633 39 181 in zone 1 at layer -1 AND SUPERHERO faces right
@SUPERHERO FEMALE is dance_grind_neutral_loop AND SUPERHERO is dance_grind_neutral_loop
And for:
Put the layers after they are standing at the positions, not before so like this:
@SALES CLERK stands screen center AND SALES CLERK faces right AND BEST FRIEND stands upscreen right AND BEST FRIEND faces right
@BEST FRIEND moves to layer 2 AND SALES CLERK moves to layer -1
@SALES CLERK is kiss_passionate_loop AND BEST FRIEND is kiss_makeout_start_rear
