Help with outfit/hair!

Hi everyone! So I’m going to have my reader pick an outfit and a hairstyle at the beginning of the episode but midway my character has flashbacks with different outfits and hairstyles. Is there a way the reader can go back to whatever outfit and hairstyle they chose? Without having to redo all the customization.

Use gains.
When the reader chooses their outfit/hair put in gains like this:
choice
“Purple Dress” {
gain purple_dress
goto label
} “Pink Shirt” {
gain pink_shirt
goto label
} “Green Skirt” {
gain green_skirt
goto label
}

This way, later on in the story when you want them to change back to the outfit the reader chose you can just:
if (purple_dress) {
@/CHARACTER changes into Purple Dress
} elif (pink_shirt) {
@/CHARACTER changes into Pink Shirt
} elif (green_skirt) {
@/CHARACTER changes into Green Skirt
} else {
}

It’s the same for the hair as well

To go back to the hairstyle the reader chose, read my post here:

you would just need to use a duplicate character. So after the CC template use this code:

@DUPLICATE becomes CHARACTER

The above code will make the duplicate look exactly like the customized main character.

After the hair/lip template when you want to revert back to the how the reader customized the hairstyle and lip color, use the same code but have the main character become the duplicate.

@CHARACTER becomes DUPLICATE

I’m not sure but I assume so. If you need to add things in between each choice you can:
