Okay so firstly I write
@overlay OVERLAYNAME create
@overlay OVERLAYNAME scales to 1 1 in 0
@overlay OVERLAYNAME to layer 4
@overlay OVERLAYNAME shifts to 100 100 in zone 1 in 0

This is how I wrote it and I cant see the arms on the screen!!

After the create command you have to add

@overlay OVERLAYNAME opacity 1 (or you can add it anywhere you want the overlay to become ??see-able??)

Bec for some reason the default opacity of overlays is 0 (transparent) so you have to set the opacity yourself

Yeah I forgot to write it now !I already have it
@overlay OVERLAYNAME opacity 1 in 0
Like that

What zone are your characters in?

I seriously cant find what I have done wrong an also cant find the exact spot I want but I know how I can find it this is easy but I dont understand why it isn’t showing up

Zone 1

There aren’t any errors/warnings, are there??

They haven’t approved my overlays yet but it doesn’t matter because I have done the same thing before and it showed up…

Hey! I had the same problem like you until I found another way how you can add overlays in your script. This wasn’t an arm but it could work for you as well:
EXT. CAR CRASH - DAY with WOUND to 0.236 40 13 in zone 3
So the 0.236 is the scale and 40 and 13 are where they shift to.

Yeah I tried it but the thing is that I dont want the overlay from the start of the scene I want to add it in the last lines if you know what I mean…
