Hi! im starting my first story and i cant figure out how i want my character who thinks shes the only survivor left meet another survivor! please help!!!

Maybe you could begin with her wandering alone and thinking about how scared she is. Maybe it’s even for a few days… Then something could scare her. A noise or something and she goes to investigate and it ends up being a person.
