Hello! So I’ve decided to write a story, but I can’t come up with a good title or description. I was thinking of the title, “It Takes Two”, but I felt like that phrase was more meant for couples. Here is a pile of mess to work off of.
Weird Story Summary
So, I came up with this idea of two twins. They are fraternal; one is a girl and the other is a boy.
The boy is a famous singer and the girl is a singer-songwriter but hasn’t made it big (yet). The thing is, they don’t know they’re twins. But, the girl is a huge fan of him. I’m still trying to figure out the details of how they got separated, and how they meet. Does anyone think they could help me out? Thank you!
Adoption seems like the easiest route, it never made sense to me how in the Parent Trap the parents split up identical twins and never told them they had a sister - a twin sister at that, what kind of monsters? A mom or couple that gave the kids up for adoption to two separate families would make the most sense. Or maybe the parent or parents could only keep one kid and put the other up for adoption. Or one of the kids could have been abducted, there was a made for TV movie about a girl who finds out her parents are actually the parents of a woman who kidnapped her (The Girl on the Back of the Milk Carton, I think) when she was a toddler, the parents of the kidnapper thought the girl was their granddaughter and the kidnapper was severely mentally unstable and ended up over dosing or something equally tragic. Could be dramatic and interesting if it’s done well.
Yeah, I was thinking about adoption and the parents only kept one of them, because they couldn’t afford taking care of two babies or something like that. I just hope it doesn’t sound too stupid.
