Help with using else/elif for a certain scene!

Hii, I’m not sure why this is happening but when I used else it wouldn’t work?? E.g. I have a romantic scene followed after using if and the “bad” scene after else but when I previewed it on my phone it showed the scene of “else” despite clicking the choice that’s meant to lead to the romantic scene?? Please help I’m not even sure what I’m meant to do for this !

Did you use gains to remember or you named the choice?

I named the choice

Can you show the script? The choice naming part and the if/else

Did you unclick the flag once you went back for the else choice?

There’s no flags in naming choices.

:scream: I had the same problem before! I had 2 choices so later I would use If/Else, instead of if/elif/else. But It would go straight to “else” even if I chose the “IF” branch. I would try to remember the choice by doing
if (“choice”) {

} else {

}

But In the end, I had to gain a flag to make it work… like this

choice
“choice 1” {

gain_choice_1

} “choice 2” {

}

and then later

if (gain_choice_1) {

} else {

}

Can someone tell me if it’s possible to remember choices by doing: if (“choice”) {}

Oh, I thought they had used flags :joy:

It’s very possible.

The code is actually

if (choicename is "choice") {

} else {

}
