Think about the worst things that could happen to your MC in their journey to the ending of your story! Since you know where it’s going to end up what are some struggles they could face getting there? Does someone, or something stand in their way? Is there a disaster, a secret revealed, mystery needing to be solved, something that’s going to make the reader think they may never make it to the end, then come up with a way to resolve it.
