I hope it will blow over and everyone gets a fair shot at sharing their stories. I always suggest trying a search before using a title. A friend of mine her story was off to a slow start because of another story by the same title but she kept the name and it is coming along now. I will say good luck to both authors.

I couldn’t do that. I’m a full time college student and didn’t even publish my story until a few hours before that deadline which was during midterms. I didn’t have time to do that but I’ll keep it in mind for next time.

I added some filler text to stop the story from going on to the next scene when I wanted to fix the placement of an overlay, but I forgot to delete it before publishing… and my friend didn’t tell me until two days ago.
So for the first 3~4 days after the deadline, during the opening sequence of the third chapter, the narrator suddenly straight up yelled, “YAY” out of nowhere.
I was so embarrassed, I fixed it immediately. I hope the judges don’t mind, but it was just too humiliating to keep in

I told them I’m changing it. I have a character randomly dancing in the middle of one part:weary:
I was so embarrassed when I saw it. I haven’t change it yet though. I contacted support to let them know I’m changing it:joy:
