Hey! Why isn't this working?

Can anyone help me figure out what’s wrong?

This is my code and there are no errors but when I preview it, the spots don’t work and it comes up like this:

Thanks for any help :hugs:

When this happens to me, I use the @ command for the spots of both characters (the second command)

It doesn’t work…

Just to be sure. You want them to be at a spot first and then to another spot?

They’re walking to a spot and once they’ve reached it, they move to another spot (so they’re seen from another perspective if that makes sense.)

So they don’t do the 3rd command? The one without the walking?

No…

Try the @CHAR spot ____ AND CHARACTER starts animation

The one above the @pause for ____

It still won’t work :pensive:

Let me see the script with the change I advised you to do

Maybe make that pause for 3.5 instead of 2.5? I’m not sure how ‘start’ animations work, but an animation does take up a beat. So try making it 3.5 just once. (in the line below Niran Khan moves to layer 2)

That does work but it doesn’t flow… like the characters would disappear before the it cuts to the next zone so there’s just a beat when it’s just a background.

I took what you said and just changed it to 2.6 instead of 2.5 and it works fine so thank you!
